Outdoors: Backyard, Cherry Park, and Buggy Rides
Whitcomb Family Daycare has three outdoor activities, in general. There is
play time in the back yard "village," buggy rides around the neighborhood,
and play time in the nearby park (Cherry & 45th).
The backyard has been transformed into a delightful park-like playground. Years of work have resulted in the "Village," which includes a castle and a
log cabin. Popular with kids are sand-box play and games in the grass.
Sometimes the children are taken for rides in the "Bye-Bye Buggy." When
weather permits, the ride includes a stop at nearby Cherry Park, where
the children play on the playground: swings, slides, and other fun things.
