New Chess Book for the “Raw” Beginner

Beat That Kid in Chess may be the first chess book to systematically use the new instructional method called “nearly-identical positions” in tactical training. This September-2015 publication, by author Jonathan Whitcomb, is for the most inexperienced chess beginner who knows the rules of the game but knows almost nothing about the tactics and practical playing matters that are essential to winning a game.
