Game Camera Still Active in Southern California

The automatic camera is still recording photos where a ropen sighting shocked a lady this past June. It may take months more and many hundreds of photographs, but I believe this ropen in this particular neighborhood of Southern California will eventually be photographed. Until then, I’ll submit a few shots that show the camera is still operating:

.

A small bird sits above the drainage channel where we believe a ropen at least occasionally flies at night. This is photograph number 1478.

The above photo shows another bird. In the background is the broken wooden fence where dense underbrush is believed to be used by the ropen on occasion.

A possum (or large rat) walks along this chain link fence, eluding the dog that can smell but not see or hear it. A flying insect makes a thin blur on the left.

Flying Creature in Southern California

On June 19, 2012, an eyewitness saw, at close range and in clear daylight, in a residential neighborhood northeast of Long Beach, California, a “dragon-pterodactyl.” Details in the description of the flying creature make it highly unlikely to be anything other than a ropen . . .

Live Dragon in Los Angeles

In June of this year, in a peaceful residential neighborhood in Lakewood, northeast of Long Beach, a lady was shocked to see a featherless creature with a wingspan of at least six feet and a long tail.
